This tour is our lower Desert  tour for those that have limited time and would like an introduction to our amazing desert.  This tour is conducted every afternoon. We begin your adventure by leaving the Palm Springs area with it's renowned golf courses,country clubs and swimming pools to a place time has forgotten. A expert guide will educate you about how our valley was formed and bring you into the heart of some of the oldest rock formations and canyons in the country.

DAILY SCHEDULE:

March to April 2 pm to 6 pm;

May to June 3 pm to 7 pm;

June to Aug 4 pm to 8 pm;

Sept 3 pm to 7 pm;

Oct 2 pm to 6 pm;

Nov to Feb 1 pm to 5 pm 

Things To Bring

Walking shoes, camera and a smile. Also between Nov and Feb we recommend warm clothing. 

Inclusions

What is included:

1.) Begin with an adventure into the Canyons of the San Andreas Fault. We will journey into canyons formed by the most powerful faultline in North America.

2.) We stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world to walk over the San Andreas Fault on a bridge. Water literally gurggles out of the ground.

3.) Step inside a cabin built by one of the first settlers of the area.

4.) Travel along an old goldmine trail that rises some 2000 feet above the desert floor.

5.) 1 hour is spent off the Hummer for optional walks and photos.

6.) We provide water and a snack.

Departures are offered at most resorts in the Palm Springs area. If your resort is not listed, our internet special applies to our convenient main pick up location at the Mortons Steakhouse in Palm Desert (our main pick up location.)
